Champions Kerry made light work of a very defensive Limerick side in Austin Stack Park, Tralee.

With Donal ‘Down’ O’Sullivan in superb form, the Kingdom kicked the first three points of the game.

Limerick replied with a point from James Molyneaux but they only scored once more in the opening half, through a Jack Downey free.

Kerry added 0-7 before the break with O’Sullivan bringing his first-half tally to 0-5.

The home side failed to kick on early in the second half and a John Hayes goal made it  0-11 to 1-3.

But Limerick’s challenge faded and Kerry added seven more points, four from O’Sullivan to seal a Munster final clash with Cork or Waterford next week.
