Kerry saw off Limerick by double scores at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale to make the provincial decider.

John Sugrue's side dominated for large parts of the game, but Limerick had their chances and seven first-half wides proved costly.

Paul Walsh, Killian Falvey and Paul O'Shea starred for the Kingdom, scoring nine of their 14 point total. Falvey had two points on the board when his side went 0-3 to 0-1 ahead on ten minutes.

A Walsh free extended that lead to three, but Kerry's advantage didn't tell the whole story as Limerick had six wides kicked by the time James Molyneaux and Eoin O'Mahony cut the gap to one.

However, Kerry upped the pace and efforts from Luka Brosnan and Walsh saw them 0-6 to 0-3 at the break.

Kerry kept their opponents at a safe distance in the second half when Limerick failed to get the goal they needed.
