Cork and Tipperary have booked their semi-final places in the League with wins that showed how far they’ve come under their new managers and on the latest Throw-In podcast, Eddie Brennan and John Mullane join Michael Verney and Donnchadh Boyle to discuss all the big talking points from the weekend’s hurling league action.

Coming from behind to beat Wexford shows that Cork have a resilience and a dog about them says Eddie Brennan while John Mullane reckons Tipp and Liam Cahill will be eyeing League success before pushing on for the Championship.

Elsewhere, Galway halted their slide to beat Clare in Ennis and Kilkenny easily beat Dublin to set up a clash against Waterford to decide on a semi-final spot.
