WATCH - Was it over the line? DCU awarded controversial goal during facile win over Queen's

Three second-half goals helped 2015 Sigerson Cup champions DCU hammer Queen's in Belfast.

Louth's Ryan Burns, Sligo's Niall Murphy and Roscommon's Enda Smith all hit the net in a one-sided game at the Dub.

Queen's were competitive in the first half but DCU hit six points in-a-row, Mayo's Diarmuid O'Connor with the best of them, to lead 0-6 to 0-2 at the break.

Shehroz Akram man-marked Queen's playmaker Marty Clarke and curbed his influence with the home side missing too many chances early on.

DCU, well organised by Kevin Feely at the back, made them pay with Burns' goal hitting the opening goal.

There was controversy surrounding the awarding of the goal with Queen's defenders adamant that the ball had not crossed the line. Judge for yourself below:

Queen's pushed up, leaving huge gaps at the back. DCU exploited the space and pounced for two goals in a minute, first from Niall Murphy. Smith palmed home the second after an unselfish pass across the goal from Hugh McFadden.
