Independent.ie Sigerson Cup quarter-final results: UCD trounce UUJ and DCU suffer shock defeat to St Mary's
UCD and St Mary's defied the bookmakers odds to seal their places in this year's Independent.ie Sigerson Cup semi-finals.

They will face the winner's of tomorrow's meeting between UL and DIT in UL.
There was a major surprise in this afternoon's other encounter after 9/2 outsiders St Mary's beat Niall Moyna's DCU after extra-time at the DCU Sportsgrounds.
The game finished 2-10 to 1-13 in normal time with St Mary's goaled from the throw-in at extra-time and the clung on for a one-point win.
They will play the UCC after the Cork side got the better of IT Carlow after extra time.
The game finished 1-6 to 0-9 after normal time but a solitary point in the added 20 minutes tipped it in the winner's favour.
