Dublin players given heroes welcome at Malahide homecoming after All-Ireland final win
The victorious Dublin ladies football team were given a rousing reception in Malahide tonight as they paraded the Brendan Martin Cup following their win in yesterday's All-Ireland final against Mayo.
Dublin claimed their second All-Ireland title, and a first since 2010, after a powerful finish saw them run out 4-11 to 0-11 winners, ending a run of three straight final defeats.
There were plenty of fans at the Bridgefield pitches to greet the players, with Niamh McEvoy, captain Sinead Aherne and Nicole Owens showing off the cup to the Dublin supporters.
Here are some of the best pictures from tonight's homecoming.
