St Patrick's Ballyragget eased to a 0-24 to 1-8 win over Ardclough in the Leinster intermediate hurling quarter-final this afternoon.

The Kilkenny club, whose celebrations after winning the county title became a huge talking point after videos went viral, put the controversy behind them to book a semi-final place following a 13-point win.

St Pat's Ballyragget only led by one point at the break (0-9 to 1-5) before a devastating scoring burst saw them blitz Ardclough by 0-15 to 0-3 in the second period.

St Pat's will face Meath club Kiltale in the Leinster intermediate semi-final on November 18.
