Slaughtneil seal five-in-a-row
Slaughtneil 2-18 Banagher 0-14
Reigning champions Slaughtneil made it five county titles in a row with a 10-point win at Celtic Park.
Chasing a five-in-a-row last repeated by Dungiven in the 1970s, Slaughtneil raced into a four-point lead, with Brendan Rogers in fine form.
Banagher scrapped their way back into the game as Darragh Cartin, Darragh McCloskey, Mark Lynch and Shane Delaney all weighed in with scores, and just a point separated the sides at the break, with the holders 0-8 to 0-7 ahead.
But Slaughtneil took control on the resumption. Cormac O'Doherty notched three points, Rogers seven, and late goals from Se McGuigan and Brian Cassidy sealed the win.
