Saffrons maintain Minor dominance

Antrim coasted to a third straight Ulster Minor Hurling Championship title with a comprehensive 14 point win over Derry at Owenbeg yesterday.

Christy McNaughton top-scored for the Saffrons with 1-9 as Ciaran Kearney's side advanced to the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

Antrim led by four points before Keelan Feeney scored a superb goal for Derry on 23 minutes. However, McNaughton responded with a free and a goal to make it 1-10 to 1-4 at half-time.

The Saffrons sealed the win after sub Conor Patterson goaled with four minutes remaining.
