Red-hot Price leads Westmeath rampage
Westmeath 3-29 Armagh 0-16
Westmeath cruised to their first League points of the year in at Mullingar against an outclassed Armagh side.
Michael Ryan's charges showed that they meant business by scoring two points in the first 40 seconds.
And it was virtually one-way traffic for the entire first half after which they led by 0-17 to 0-7 - all of Armagh's tally came from David Carvill frees.
Westmeath were in front by 0-24 to 0-12 when Allan Devine cleverly flicked home their first goal on the hour mark.
Five minutes later, Armagh captain David Carvill was sent off for a second yellow, and Westmeath duly added goals from the outstanding Eoin Price and Brendan Murtagh.
