Imokilly are one game away from achieving the first Cork SHC three-in-a-row since 1982 after they overcame St Finbarr's in yesterday's semi-final at Páirc Uí Rinn.

The East Cork divisional side won by 3-19 to 1-19 against the city side - the last club to have won three on the trot - with first-half goals from Paudie O'Sullivan and Declan Dalton putting them into a 2-10 to 0-10 interval lead.

While Conor Cahalane and Billy Hennessy impressed for the Barrs, Cahalane scoring 13 points in all, they struggled to eat into the deficit and Imokilly sub Shane O'Regan put any doubts about the outcome to bed as he made it 3-15 to 0-15 on the three-quarter mark.

Opposing Imokilly on October 20 will be Glen Rovers, who reached a fourth final in six years with an easy 0-26 to 0-11 win over Carrigtwohill.
