O'Carroll on song as four see red
Trinity College 5-17 IT Tallaght 0-12
Four red cards were shown as visitors Trinity College Dublin swatted aside IT Tallaght in their Kehoe Cup game in Bohernabreena.
A few cheap frees by Trinity caused Tallaght to take an early lead in the game. Two careless fouls by corner-back Jack O'Neill earned him two yellows leaving Trinity to pull back a minor deficit with 14 men.
Trinity's Conor O'Carroll responded positively from the sending-off, scoring the game's first goal, his first of three, after hitting the post only moments before.
Frustration was apparent in the home side late on as a scuffle broke out on their goal line involving the majority of the game's players, resulting in three players being shown red.
