Nolan points way for Kerry
Kerry 2-30 London 1-13
Kerry underlined their promotion credentials with a 20-point hammering of London at McGovern Park.
Twelve players got on the score-sheet for the Kingdom, dead-ball expert Shane Nolan leading the way with 11 points with Jordan Conway and Pádraig Boyle scoring goals.
Kerry had racked up 1-15 by the interval to lead by five, despite playing into a strong wind, and they restricted London to three points during a one-sided second half.
The visitors were slow out of the blocks in Ruislip as London's Martin Duggan found the net after 50 seconds, and the teams went point for point early on. However, Kerry took a firm grip by hitting an unanswered 1-3 in four minutes, Conway raising the green flag. With the London forwards starved of possession, Kerry began to pull away and Daniel O'Carroll's point gave them a 1-15 to 1-10 interval lead.
Any hopes of a London comeback were buried on 39 minutes when Boyle flicked a dropping ball to the net.
