A FIRST-HALF double from Thomas Morgan sent O'Donovan Rossa to the All-Ireland intermediate final as they dominated 14-man Cappoquin at a blustery Mullingar yesterday.
Seamus Shannon's side rattled the Munster champions when Morgan netted after 11 seconds. Deaglan Murphy supplied his second with Morgan shooting into the corner.
Cappoquin managed only points from Andy Molumby and Shane O'Rourke in the opening period, and their task was made tougher when Molumby was sent off for a second yellow.
Cappoquin rallied in the second half to within five points of Rossa, but they couldn't get any closer.
