Match reports: Leinster MHC tier 2
Kildare 2-19 Antrim 0-7
David Qualter led the way with 1-5 as Kildare eased past Antrim in the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown.
The Lilywhites made light of a strong crossfield wind to open with six unanswered points, and Rossa Stapleton's goal gave them a nine-point half-time advantage.
But manager Cathal Fenton felt they should have been further ahead, although he did concede "the weather conditions made it a difficult game".
The second half continued in the same vein, with Qualter's goal standing out amid a flurry of scores.
