Lancashire survived a late rally by a 14-man Leitrim side to claim a narrow victory after an intense battle at the Old Bedians Sports Grounds in Manchester.

An early Colm Moreton goal helped Leitrim lead for the opening 23 minutes, but then Lancashire edged ahead when Ronan Crowley put over his seventh successive free.

Lancashire led by 0-12 to 1-6 at the break. A 45th-minute yellow for Cathal O'Donovan saw Leitrim down a player for the rest of the action.

Lancashire's Ronan Crowley hit his 15th pointed free, while keeper Ronan MacAteer secured victory with the game's last score.

Fermanagh 0-19 Cavan 1-11

Fermanagh hit 10 unanswered points in the final 26 minutes to record a gritty Lory Meagher Cup win at Kingspan Breffni Park.

The Ernesiders fell 0-9 to 1-11 behind after John Sheanon blasted home from the penalty spot in the 47th minute but, amazingly, that was to be Cavan's final score.

Free-taker John Duffy was on song for Fermanagh while fine solo points from Barry McPhillips and Francis McBrien saw them draw level at 0-14 to 1-11.

Thereafter, Duffy came into his own and even the late dismissal of McBrien couldn't take the gloss off the Ernesiders' comeback.
