Last-gasp Henry the Derry hero
Derry 1-12 London 2-8
Paddy Henry's 70th-minute '65' capped a valiant fightback Owenbeg to earn Derry a semi-final place.
The Exiles surged into a 0-4 to no score lead, but the hosts responded, with Paul Cleary and Ruairi Convery on target as they hit four points without reply.
London were on the back foot, clearly missing star forward Martin Duggan, but hit their hosts with the classic sucker-punch when Mark O'Dwyer netted a goal just before the break to give them a 1-5 to 0-6 half-time lead.
Derry took control on the restart, with Henry - who scored 1-4 in the second half - the architect of their comeback.
London were second best but never gave up and a second O'Dwyer goal with eight minutes remaining levelled the contest.
Derry sub Niall Ferris and Peter Phelan swapped points, as extra-time loomed large.
However, Henry's coolly converted late point ensured Derry advanced to the last-four in a fortnight, with a quarter-final for London next weekend.
