Kilmallock and Cratloe booked their places in the Munster Hurling club final, but the Limerick side required extra-time to see off the challenge of Sarsfields.

Earlier Clare champions Cratloe reached their first ever provincial final after theyproved too strong for Thurles Sarsfields and ran out seven point winners.

Kilmallock eventually prevailed by two points after extra-time after both sides finished at 3-15 a piece at the full-time whistle.

In the Leinster football quarter-finals, there were wins for St. Vincents, Garrycastle, Rhode and Moorefield while in Connacht, Ballintubber and Corofin will face off in the provincial decider.

The Mayo champions knocked out St. Brigids while Corofin put seven goals past Aughawillan in a facile victory.
