Kilkenny today revealed the strip their hurlers will be wearing as they prepare to defend their Liam McCarthy crown.

Brian Cody's men will first have their sights on the National league which gets underway this weekend and they will have a brand new jersey for the coming season.

The most obvious change is the lack of a traditional collar, while there is more black than on previous jerseys.

Jackie Tyrell, Eoin Larkin, team captain Joey Holden, Paul Murphy and Colin Fennelly were present at the launch today at Nowlan Park.
