All-Ireland PPS SHC semi-final

Mary Kennedy inspired Presentation College Athenry to the Croke Cup final, scoring 1-6 in their three-point win over Midleton CBS at Kilmallock.

Despite missing a first-half penalty, Kennedy was influential in a game which saw both sides finish with 14 men as tempers boiled over.

After Midleton's slow start, Joe Stack reduced the gap to the minimum before goalkeeper Jack McGann expertly saved a penalty from Kennedy.

Ryan McCarthy then dispatched a stoppage-time penalty to see the Cork side lead at half-time.

Kennedy struck to give his side winning momentum, made worse for CBS after Ross O'Regan's goal was ruled out.
