11-time All Star Henry Shefflin and nine-time All Star Tommy Walsh were named on the bench as Kilkenny boss Brian Cody makes three changes for their All-Ireland showdown with Tipperary on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Eoin Murphy comes in for David Herity.

Murphy had started the Leinster ties against Offaly and Galway but went off injured in the replay win over the Anthony Cunningham's men.

Walter Walsh and Richie Power come into the full-forward line alongside Eoin Larkin, with TJ Reid at wing-forward and Mark Kelly and Padraig Walsh dropping to the substitutes.

Tipperary named an unchanged team last night.

Kilkenny (SH team to play Tipperary): E Murphy; P Murphy, JJ Delaney, J Tyrrell; J Holden, B Hogan, Cillian Buckley; Richie Hogan, Conor Fogarty; M Fennelly, C Fennelly, TJ Reid; W Walsh, R Power, Eoin Larkin.
