Kerry brushed aside a disappointing Meath side to set up a final round clash with Westmeath in Mullingar next weekend which will decide who makes the final.

Meath took a shock lead with an Alan Douglas goal in the second minute followed by a point from Joe Keena, but that was as good as it got.

Kerry struck their first goal in the seventh minute when Brendan O'Leary set up Jack Goulding. A minute later the same player found the net after a melee when Shane Conway's initial shot was saved.

Points from Goulding and Conway helped Kerry into a 2-9 to 1-3 half-time lead. After the break Shane Conway's free was deflected into the net before Colm Harty's point put Kerry 12 points clear. Shane Brennan's second yellow didn't help Meath's cause.
