Golden Glynn seals finals place for Rossies
All Ireland MH 'B' semi-finals: Roscommon 2-13 Wicklow 1-14
Centre-forward Daniel Glynn was the toast of Roscommon as he powered them into the final with his phenomenal scoring against Wicklow at Arklow on Saturday.
Wicklow had a dream start with a goal inside 30 seconds by Padraig Doyle. After that, it was Roscommon's Glynn who ran the show for the rest of the half.
Inside six minutes, the westerners had edged 0-4 to 1-0 in front, three of the points fired over by Glynn and, by half-time, they led by 1-9 to 1-5 at the break.
By full-time the Roscommon ace had totted up 2-10, while Enda Donoghue drilled over 10 points for Wicklow from frees.
Wicklow had a vastly improved second half, putting pressure on the visitors, but Rossies prevailed.
