Wicklow survived a tough test against Donegal in Division 2B thanks to two late first-half goals in Aughrim.

Enda Donohue and John Henderson ran through to fire home the crucial goals within minutes of each other after Donegal had battled back to trail 0-9 to 0-8 after 25 minutes.

Mickey McCann's men were always chasing Wicklow in the second half and could have caught them but for the heroics of Bob Fitzgerald in the Garden County goal.

Donegal did manage to get back to within a score of Seamus Murphy's men with 11 minutes left but they ultimately failed to build on their victory over Derry.

Wicklow ran out relatively comfortable winners in the end to get their league campaign back on track following their defeat to Down in Ballycran last time out.
