Fermanagh confirmed a spot in the 2015 Lory Meagher Cup final, after a hard earned three-point win over Leitrim in Brewster Park today.

Free-taker John Duffy once again the scoring charts for the Erne County, but the introduction of Sean Corrigan, coupled with a Kevin McGarry goal handed the hosts the boost they needed.

Padraig O’Donnell registered all of Leitrim’s first half tally, as they led 0-9 to 1-5 at half-time, with Ciaran Corrigan netting the Fermanagh goal.

Leitrim were dangerous on the restart, with a John Ryan point quickly followed up by a Zak Moradi goal.

The visitors were firmly in the driving seat at this stage, but let Fermanagh back into contention, as the Erne County introduced some key players from the bench.

Substitute Kevin Ward put Leitrim into a 1-12 to 1-10 lead with a brace of scores, and although he tied the game, as a response to McGarry’s goal, Fermanagh were stronger late on.

Scorers for Fermanagh: J Duffy (6f) 0-8; K McGarry, C Corrigan 1-1; S Corrigan 0-2; JP McGarry, T Cleary 0-1 each.

Scorers for Leitrim: P O’Donnell (4f) 0-9; Z Moradi 1-0; K Ward (2f) 0-4; J Ryan 0-1.
