Fermanagh will compete in the Nicky Rackard Cup next season.

A week after winning the Lory Meagher Cup, the Erne men earned the right to step up a grade in this play-off at Kingspan Breffni Park, but they needed a string of superb saves from goalkeeper Mark Curry to see it through. John Duffy, Thomas Cleary and Sean Corrigan were all on target as Fermanagh went four points up but Gerard Smyth narrowed the gap to a point.

However, the Ulster men dominated the final 15 minutes of the half, hitting eight points on the spin, to lead by 0-13 to 0-5 at the interval. Smyth slammed in two second-half goals, from a penalty and a 20 metre free.

Teague netted a Fermanagh goal, and a couple of outstanding stops from Curry made it another triumphant day for Seamus McCusker's side.
