Corcoran strikes again
Cork 1-18 Waterford 1-13 All-Ireland SHC Quarter-Final
Waterford kept pace with Cork for an hour but the reigning All-Ireland champions upped the tempo and were able to pull away.
Brian Corcoran was again the Deise's chief tormentor as his goal shortly after the hour mark swung the momentum back in the Rebels' favour.
Cork led by a point at the interval (1-7 to 0-9) and although Dan Shanahan did raise the green flag for Waterford, late points from substitutes Neil Ronan and Kieran Murphy sealed the win.
Clare sent out a clear indicator of their title credentials by easing past Wexford in their semi-final meeting (1-20 to 0-12).
Seanie McMahon rolled back the years to give a masterful man of the match display at centre-back while Niall Gilligan and Diarmuid McMahon scored four points each to send Clare through to the last four.
Armagh were two-point winners (0-13 to 0-11) in their Ulster final replay.
Oisin McConville scored four points for the Orchard County against a Tyrone side who fell just short.
