Conal Keaney (35) has come out of retirement to rejoin the Dublin hurlers
Ballyboden St Enda's star Conal Keaney is back training with Pat Gilroy's Dublin hurlers ahead of their 2018 national league campaign.
The 35-year-old retired from inter-county hurling in 2016 following Boden's All-Ireland football success.
Keaney played under Gilroy when he was in charge of the Dublin footballers.
He won a National League medal and a Leinster title with the hurlers and will be hoping to contribute to more success in the capital.
Dublin face Wexford in a Walsh Cup semi-final this weekend and open up their account in the league against Offaly at Croker on January 27.
