Coláiste Eoin will meet St Kieran's Kilkenny in this year's Leinster Colleges SHC final after their two-point victory over Kilkenny CBS.

The Dublin school had Dónal Mac Duinnsléibhe sent off on 30 minutes and although they came pressure in the second half, they finished strongly to advance to the final for the second successive year.

Breandán Ó Scanláin converted five frees for Coláiste Eoin in the opening quarter as his side went on to lead by 0-12 to 0-7 at the break with Billy Drennan contributing three points for Kilkenny CBS.

Although Mac Duinnsléibhe's dismissal was a boost for the Kilkenny school, Pádhraic Ó Luineacháin fired past keeper Brian Minogue for the only goal of the game to leave the Dublin side in control.

Kilkenny CBS did get the deficit down to a point by the 52nd minute but a subsequent red card for Timmy Clifford halted their recovery.
