Charleville's Fitzgibbon fears
Charleville 1-15 Graigue-Ballycallan 1-13
Charleville are sweating over the fitness of Darragh Fitzgibbon for the final after their star attacker suffered an injury in Saturday's victory over Graigue-Ballycallan in Thurles.
Fitzgibbon, the top scorer with six points, went off in the 43rd minute but returned to the fray before limping off in the 52nd minute.
Selector Ben O'Connor, the former Cork star, expressed worries about Fitzgibbon's prospects of making the final on February 10 in Croke Park.
"Hopefully it is only a knock that will work itself out in a day or two, but he couldn't put his weight on the leg afterwards," he said.
Graigue led by 0-9 to 0-7 at the break before Charleville blasted into action.
Scores from Jack O'Callaghan and Fitzgibbon levelled it by the 32nd minute, and a blitz of 1-3 opened up a decisive 1-14 to 0-12 lead.
Andrew Cagney got the goal after Fitzgibbon's shot was blocked out, and he added two points.
