All-Star goalkeeper Eoin Murphy is the latest Kilkenny player to join the injury list after he was forced off while in action in a club match with Glenmore last weekend.

The Cats are awaiting a report on the full extent of the injury with Kilkenny already set to be without Cillian Buckley, James Maher for an extended period, while Conor Delaney is also facing a long stint out of action after breaking his foot on club duty. Former Hurler of the Year Richie Hogan also continues to battle a back problem.

Kilkenny start their Leinster SHC campaign with the visit of Dublin to Nowlan Park on May 11.
