Brennan puts Orchard County to sword

Nine Carlow players shared in their massive tally as Colm Bonnar's side completed their campaign unbeaten, a result which qualifies Carlow for a league final against Antrim and a shot at promotion to Division 1B.

Carlow were 1-4 to nil ahead after eight minutes, their goal coming from Seán Brennan.

Carlow remained in control in the second half, registering goals from Brennan, Chris Nolan and Seamus Murphy.

Armagh, who drew with London, are relegated to Division 2B, as the Exiles have a superior scoring difference.
