Not only can they play football, the Mullinalaghta history-makers can sing too.

There are just over 400 people in the half-parish of Mullinalaghta and last night they toasted become the first ever Longford side to win a Leinster club football championship.

The were huge underdogs to beat Dublin champions Kilmacud Crokes, who have a membership of almost 5,000, but produced a rousing finish to win by two points.
