Dr Crokes' star Kieran O'Leary scored a stunning goal in yesterday's East Kerry final but it would not have stood under the GAA's new proposed rules.

Detractors of the proposed handpass rule currently being trialled in pre-season competitions have highlighted how restricting teams to three consecutive handpasses could impede offensive play.

O'Leary's goal was lauded on social media yesterday but it came after four successive passes using the hand.

Crokes comfortably beat Kilcummin by 3-24 to 1-8.
