Meath legend Colm O'Rourke has slammed the quality of the opening 35 minutes of Derry and Tyrone's Ulster quarter-final at Celtic Park.
ickey Harte's men led the game 0-10 to 0-5 at the break but the game was was very stop-start, with very little atmosphere being generated.
Derry, who conceded 11 goals in the league, seemed determined not to see the visitors raise a green flag but were guilty of giving away free, six resulted in points.
During most Derry attacks, Tyrone had 14-men behind the ball with only Sean Cavanagh in the opposite half.
O'Rourke was far from impressed by the fare on offer.
"Derry have been very ill-disciplined giving away frees and Sean Cavanagh has five already. It's a bit of a turkey of a game," he told the Sunday Game on RTE.
"It really is dreadful stuff. It's the sort of game you associate with Tyrone but it is up to everyone else to come out and beat them
"I think the game is over. Derry have been abandoned, even by their own supporters.
"Standard poor. Entertainment poor. Mickey Harte says he's not in the entertainment business and he's dead right"
