Louth 6-9 Wicklow 5-12
Ryan Walsh converted a last-gasp free to rescue a point for Louth just 60 seconds after Wicklow thought they had won an amazing match in Ardee with an Eoin Darcy goal.
This was a classic with attacking football from both sides from the first whistle. No fewer than five goals were scored in the first ten minutes with Wicklow first off through an Eoin Darcy penalty.
Ruairi Hanlon levelled the scores for Louth before John Keogh went straight up the other end to score Wicklow's second major. Matthew Ging left the Louth defence for dead as he slotted the ball past Martin McEneaney to make it 3-2 to 1-2 after nine minutes.
Louth finished with goals from Daire Nally and two from Ryan Walsh. That ensured the Wee County went in level at the break (4-4 to 3-7).
After Cathal Fleming and Sean Healy goaled for Louth on the restart, they looked good for victory But a Kevin Quinn goal for Wicklow left two points in it before Darcy's goal led to a frantic finale.
