Walsh furore over the top

It's damned if it does, and it's damned if it doesn't. It's hard not to feel some sympathy for The Sunday Game – accused in the past of pandering to players and managers – and then getting panned when it does the opposite.

Eamonn O'Hara expressed an honestly held view on Kevin Walsh as Sligo manager. It may have been harsh, unfair even, but that's what he's there for. He probably should have been challenged there and then to back up his view. The week-long reaction to it, though, has been over the top.
