Video: Tyrone's Tiernan McCann was sent head-over-heels by a hit against Cavan Newsdesk Newsdesk

Just over a week after he left Derry's Brendan Rodgers with 14 stitches with an off-the-ball hit, Tyrone's Tiernan McCann was on the receiving end against Cavan on Sunday.

Operating at wing-back in the 0-10 to 0-8 victory in Omagh, McCann was sent sprawling to the ground in an incident in the first half of the victory over the Breffni men.

The incident just over a week after McCann left Derry's Brendan Rogers requiring 14 stitches after an incident just seconds into the Red Hands victory in the McKenna Cup final at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh.

Rogers missed the Oak Leaf county's win over Fermanagh at the weekend as a result and isn't expected to feature for the next few weeks.
