Tyrone sweating over 'keeper Morgan's fitness
Tyrone's free-kicking goalkeeper Niall Morgan has suffered a knee injury in a club game and is a major doubt for the first round of the qualifiers in less than a fortnight.
Morgan was stretchered off after sustaining the injury while playing for Edendork against Derrytresk yesterday, with ligament damage suspected.
His impact has been sensational this year, with the 21-year-old scoring 18 points during the National Football League, and proving himself an exceptional shot-stopper.
Should the injury rule Morgan out of the Red Hand's opening qualifier clash on June 29, manager Mickey Harte may be forced to turn to John Devine, who retired earlier this year, in a bid to coax him back as cover for Pascal McConnell.
Tyrone will discover who their back-door opponents will be when the draw is made this morning.
