Tyrone brothers Lee and Rory Brennan hit 2-3 between them as Ulster University advanced to the Sigerson Cup semi-finals with a good bit to spare over 13-man UL at Jordanstown.

Monaghan's Ryan McAnespie scored the opener with Lee Brennan's tidy finish making it 2-2 to 0-2 after 15 minutes. Rory Brennan's fine finish, cutting in from the left onto his right foot, helped the home side to a 3-4 to 0-2 interval lead.

UL's Pearse Lillis received a straight red card after five minutes for striking and they failed to score from play in the first half. Keelan Sexton picked up a second yellow card late on, though UL hit the last five unanswered points, including three frees from Denis Daly.
