Sarah Jessica Parker has shown her support for Donegal ahead of Sunday's All Ireland showdown with Kerry.

The Sex and the City star took to Twitter to confirm that she’ll be supporting Jim McGuinness’ men in Sunday’s final.

A fan, Josy Burke, tweeted Sarah Jessica Parker to tell her she had “better be supporting Donegal come Sunday”

The actress replied with: “There is no other team to support”.

Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, fellow actor, Matthew Broderick are regular visitors to Donegal and own a house in Kilcar.

The actress has been showing her support for Donegal in a series of tweets this week and revealed that her son will be sporting a Donegal jersey for the final.

Last week, fan Pauline Doherty tweeted her to ask her if she'd have her "Donegal jersey ready for the 21st"

She replied: "My son does."

While Parker is not expected to attend Sunday's All Ireland final, earlier this summer, she was snapped in Donegal with her son, James Wilkie, who was sporting a jersey.

Gareth Britton of All Sports in Donegal Town confirmed to Donegal Daily newspaper that the family had been to his shop to purchase several jerseys.

“They called in yesterday and didn’t create any fuss at all. They have been in to us before.”

“We didn’t ask them to pose for photos or anything like that. I think they just prefer to be left alone – I think that’s why they enjoy coming to Donegal and relaxing,” he said.
