The Throw-In: Mayo on a cliff-edge, Bernard Brogan's cruciate and Dublin's new leaders
On this week's episode of The Throw-In in association with Allianz, Will Slattery is joined by Mayo legend David Brady, Irish Independent GAA correspondent Colm Keys and the Sunday World's Roy Curtis to discuss the weekend's football action.
The conversation starts with the fiery end to Galway vs Mayo, as the Tribesmen completed their fourth straight win over Stephen Rochford's men. David Brady is worried about his county's form and thinks that the meeting of Mayo vs Galway in the Connacht championship quarter-final will make-or-break both counties' season.
Brady also thinks that it is paramount that Mayo stay up in Division 1:
'If Mayo go down there’s no way back for them,' says Brady.
The panel also discuss Bernard Brogan's knee injury, the next generation of Dublin stars and Donegal's more open style this year.
We also hear from Cork fans and get their thoughts on the team's inconsistencies this year, while Roy Curtis takes issue with a recent interview given by Tyrone manager Mickey Harte.
