Sunday showdown with old friends for Johnston

THE times, dates and venues for the second round of football qualifiers have been confirmed.

The eagerly anticipated return of Seanie Johnston to Kingspan Breffni Park has been fixed for Sunday week along with Kerry's visit to Westmeath and Monaghan's trip to Laois. All three games on Sunday have been fixed for a 3.0 throw-in.

The remaining five games are down for decision a day earlier. Saturday sees Roscommon and Tyrone get the action underway at 2.0 while Longford's clash with Limerick, which throws in a 7.0, rounds off a bumper day's action in the football championship.

Television arrangements have yet to be finalised.
