KUKRI have signed their first jersey manufacturing deal with an inter-county team as Sligo unveiled a new shirt last night

The Antrim-based sportswear manufacturer received their licence from the GAA shortly before Christmas and have wasted no time in linking up with a county by agreeing terms with Sligo for the next three years.

Sligo have also added a secondary sponsor for the first time. In addition to their main sponsors, the Radisson Hotel, they will now carry the logo of Sligo IT on their shirts for the next three years.

Kukri already supply All-Ireland ladies football champions Cork and are official jersey suppliers to the Ulster rugby team.

Wexford will also have new sponsors as Gain Feeds, part of the Glanbia Agri Group, are coming on board until the end of 2016. The Glanbia Group already sponsor Kilkenny through the Avonmore brand.

Meanwhile, Pairc Esler in Newry will host two of the four semi-finals in the All-Ireland senior club championships next month.

Mount Leinster Rangers, Carlow's first Leinster champions, will travel north to play Loughgiel Shamrocks on Saturday, February 8 (3.0), with Portumna and Na Piarsaigh meeting in the other hurling semi- final in Portlaoise (5.0).

The football semi-finals will take place a week later. Newry will host the St Vincent's v Ballinderry game (5.0), while Dr Crokes and Castlebar Mitchels will meet in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise (7.0).
