Ulster MFC Antrim snatched victory at Brewster Park thanks to a late goal from substitute Kevin Small.
One of the best moves of the game saw them weave through the Fermanagh defence, and when the ball was transferred to Small he made no mistake. Antrim's Conor Small and Fermanagh's Luke Ryder had something of a shoot-out, hitting 14 successful frees between them in an excellent exhibition of free taking.
There were three goals scored in the first half with Fermanagh hitting the first two to leap into a six point lead. Odhran Eastwood opened the scoring with a point for the visitors but Ryder cancelled this out.
Ryder was involved in the first major of the game when his shot after five minutes dropped short. Paul Og O'Reilly challenged Antrim keeper Gavin Murray and the ball found its way into the net. Antrim hit straight back with a brace of frees from captain Conor Small but the home side grabbed another goal. And this time there was no doubt who scored it, with O'Reilly drilling a brilliant low shot to the corner.
Antrim came back, however, and Brendan Corr bravely punched a ball to the net to leave just three between the sides, and Conor and Kevin Small won it for the visitors.
