Quigley's penalty seals Ernesiders' win
Fermanagh 1-10 Queen's 1-9
A controversial penalty was the vital score as Fermanagh overcame Queen's by a single point in the Dr McKenna Cup at Brewster Park.
A Queen's defender was adjudged to have touched the ball on the ground on 66 minutes, although the visitors were aggrieved the referee didn't award a free out just seconds earlier.
Substitute Seamus Quigley stepped up to roll the ball into the corner to give his side a three-point lead.
Queen's kicked the last two points of the game, but Fermanagh held on to secure their second win.
It was all Queen's for the opening 25 minutes as they built up a 1-2 to 0-0 lead, with Niall Keenan's goal coming inside two minutes.
After a sluggish start Fermanagh finally got on the scoresheet with Conal Jones on target.
By half-time Queen's were ahead by a point and with Declan McCusker and Aidan Breen adding points, Fermanagh took a grip of the contest in the second half.
Tiarnan Rushe was causing problems for the home defence but Quigley's penalty was to turn matters in Fermanagh's favour.
