Peerless O Se has all the class needed to be 'Millennium man'

IT'S a pity the GAA's Centenary (1984) came so close to the Millennium (2000) as it allowed very little scope for change to the best-ever teams.

Naturally, those selections were hugely subjective so, in that continued spirit, can I add in a name from the modern crop that surely has a genuine case? Has there ever been a better wing-back in football than Tomas O Se (above)?

He gave another masterclass in Omagh last Sunday, especially in the first half, when he made Tyrone's security arrangements, which are usually meticulously planned and executed, look as if they had the unlocking code written in bold letters.

He has been the best wing-back in the game for the past 13 years and still has no equal.
