Oughterard shock fancied Templenoe
Oughterard 1-12 Templenoe 0-12
Galway champions Oughterard pulled off a major shock when they defeated Kerry's Templenoe in Kilmallock to book their place in the All-Ireland club intermediate final in Croke Park in two weeks' time.
Templenoe - with four Kerry senior panellists; Tadhg Morley, Gavin Crowley, Adrian Spillane and Killian Spillane in their ranks - were left to rue a plethora of missed chances.

Oughterard looked to be in a spot of bother during the opening 20 minutes as Templenoe raced 0-6 to 0-3 in front, but the Galway side hung on to Templenoe's coat-tails thanks to points from Matthew Tierney, Niall Lee and Ronan Molloy.
Templenoe led 0-7 to 0-5 at the interval, only to kick four wides in the third quarter and, crucially, Josh Crowley-Holland should have goaled but shot inches wide in the 45th minute.
Minutes later, the turning point in the match arrived. A poor clearance from goalkeeper Dan Cahalane went straight to Oughterard's Paul Walsh.
The former Galway minor then clinically dispatched the ball to the Templenoe net to put his side 1-7 to 0-9 up, ahead for the first time in the game.
Templenoe answered with points from Gavin Crowley and Killian Spillane but points from Martin Tierney, Cian Monaghan and Joey Fox ensured that Oughterard will be in Croke Park on January 25.
