Meath recovered from an eight-point deficit to book a Leinster final date at Croke Park following this victory over Louth at Páirc Tailteann, Navan.

Meath hit the opening two points but Louth then took control and with Barry O'Hare accounting for four points, they had built up a 0-5 to 0-3 lead by the 15th minute.

It got even better for the Wee County after that as Cian Callan netted on 16 minutes.

Wing-back Cathal Bellew added a second goal on 23 minutes and the visitors led by 2-6 to 0-5 at the break.

Six successive points after half-time had the Royals back in contention, and they drew level following Darren Finney's point on 50 minutes.

Kevin Ross then pointed the hosts ahead but Louth hit back to level through Fergal Malone and then regained the lead following O'Hare's pointed free on 55 minutes.

However, Meath finished the stronger with Frank O'Reilly converting a 45 before Oran Meehan fisted over for the winning score three minutes from the finish.
