On-fire Quigley and Jones see off Offaly
Fermanagh 2-11 Offaly 1-6
For the second week in a row Fermanagh eased to victory at Brewster Park as they dispatched Offaly with eight points to spare.
The home side took control early on, bagging six of the first seven scores. On 14 minutes they struck for a goal when Sean Quigley intercepted a short kick-out and fed Conal Jones, who made no mistake.
Fermanagh led by nine on 26 minutes, with Jones swinging over a beauty after Aidan Breen had plundered their second goal.
Offaly scored the next 1-3 either side of half-time - with Michael Brazil firing in a goal and Nigel Dunne hitting a brace of frees - to reduce the deficit to three points.
Fermanagh went 28 minutes without a score until Quigley collected and turned neatly to slot over with his weak foot after 54 minutes.
That point put Fermanagh four up and they never looked back as Offaly failed to score for the remainder of the game.
For Offaly there were game efforts from Peter Cunningham, and Anton Sullivan, who notched two points from play as he ploughed a lone furrow for much of the game.
